About The Position

The Senior Vice President, Workplace Strategy will develop workplace strategy solutions and lead client-facing engagements around the future of work, return to office, space programming, and portfolio optimization. In addition to a consulting, planning and technical background, the role requires strong presentation and organizational skills. 20-25% travel is required for this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (Required)
  • 10-15+ years' related experience in Workplace strategy, architecture, consulting, corporate real estate, facilities management, project management, construction management, design, human resources, organizational development, communications or change management roles
  • Strong background in business development and point-of-sale presentation skills
  • Impeccable and concise communication and presentation skills, verbal and written
  • Strong time management skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
  • People management experience
  • Proficiency in AutoCad, REVIT, BIM or other drafting technologies is (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or M.Arch, advanced degree and/or certifications (Preferred)
  • Proficiency in CAFM/IWMS system or other workplace technologies is (Preferred)
  • Workplace program implementation experience in a corporate setting, working alongside cross-functional real estate, facilities, IT, HR, finance and change management teams (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Partner with our brokers for business development, pursuits, proposals, and client service delivery
  • Develop, implement, and manage Workplace Strategy engagements
  • This will include benchmarking current spaces and comparing to industry peers or researching an organization's current workplace environment and identifying areas of potential improvements related to space usage, culture, or demographics.
  • Lead programming efforts, employee surveys, test-fits, business interviews, utilization studies, mobility assessments, visioning sessions and focus groups.
  • Collaborate with JLL Marketing and Research to create workplace collateral and thought leadership pieces
  • Refine and localize the workplace service offering (process, tools, and deliverables) to be relevant in your market
  • Understand the real estate project life cycle and be able to gather and analyze data and develop insights to inform and business decisions specific to existing and future client requirement
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) by staying abreast of current workplacetrends across industries and geographies.
  • Represent JLL's workplace team at relevant industry forums and professional associations
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal customers (brokers, leadership, etc.) and key clients
  • Steer the direction of workplace projects and oversee the process / output of your team to ensure a high level of execution and client satisfaction
  • Act as escalation point for delivery issues
