The SVP, Social Lead is a pivotal leadership role at the heart of Blue Hour Studios with close integration with Horizon Media. This executive will be the driving force behind our integrated social engine, responsible for the seamless management of client relationships and the unified output across all social disciplines for a key client. This role demands a visionary leader with a deep passion for the social ecosystem, from influencer and creator partnerships to paid social, social strategy, creative production, community management, and account management. As a key member of the executive team, you will be responsible for not only elevating the quality and impact of our work but also for delivering business outcomes for our client. You will inspire and lead a multi-disciplinary team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and executional excellence that delivers measurable impact and works in close partnership with Horizon Media integration.

Requirements

  • 18+ years of progressive leadership experience within a social, influencer, or creative agency.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and growing senior-level client relationships, with a history of driving significant client business results.
  • Proven ability to integrate paid social seamlessly with organic, creative, and influencer marketing efforts to create holistic and effective campaigns.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing large budgets and a proven ability to drive revenue growth.
  • A deep and passionate understanding of the social media ecosystem, creator economy, and cultural trends.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently lead C-suite level discussions.
  • A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Vision: Lead the development and execution of a unified, innovative vision for our client’s integrated social engine, ensuring integration and excellence across all social disciplines.
  • Serve as the executive sponsor for key client relationships, providing strategic counsel and thought leadership on the evolving social landscape.
  • Act as a key architect of the brand’s strategic roadmap, identifying opportunities to expand and optimize our approach.
  • Author and present compelling, data-driven points of view that shape the brand’s strategy and establish our client as a thought leader in the social space.
  • Client Relationship & Account Management: Own and cultivate C-suite level client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for all social-related initiatives.
  • Ensure the highest level of client satisfaction and retention through proactive communication, strategic guidance, and flawless delivery of our social programs.
  • Oversee all account operations, including strategic planning, scoping, budget management, and resource allocation to ensure profitability and growth.
  • Team Leadership & Supervision: Manage, mentor, and inspire a high-performing, multidisciplinary team of social experts across influencer & creator, paid social, strategy, community management, creative, and account management.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment that encourages creative risk-taking and a commitment to excellence.
  • Provide clear direction, constructive feedback, and career development opportunities to ensure the continued growth and success of your team members.
  • Operational Excellence & Growth: Drive the operational framework for all social projects, optimizing processes, timelines, and integration points to ensure efficiency and excellence.
  • Identify and pursue organic growth opportunities within existing client relationships.
  • Establish and enforce best practices and support data measurement frameworks across all social disciplines, ensuring a consistently high standard of quality and demonstrable ROI
