About The Position

You will lead all @quizlet socials end-to-end. Strategy, ideation, measurement, partnerships, creating, posting, and engaging with viewers. You are the Directly Responsible Individual of all @quizlet social content; and you are determined to make them best-in-class. We’re happy to share that this is an onsite position in our San Francisco office. To help foster team collaboration, we require that employees be in the office a minimum of three days per week : Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday and as needed by your manager or the company. In this role, you will: Lead content for all Quizlet-branded channels (@quizlet on all platforms) including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, et al, from strategy to execution Create content every day, being active and hands-on in every step of the creation process Tell our story and participate in pop culture through content that feels more human than corporate, more unhinged than sterile Create the face of our brand on social, recurring themes and motifs, storytelling, and content that allows us to naturally participate in pop culture and commentary Spearhead brand partnerships with brands that are aligned with Quizlet’s core values and take those partnerships from end-to-end, from outreach to post Work cross-functionally to measure the success and impact of content you create, ensure alignment with core Quizlet brand values, and collaborate with teams on product launches

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of what makes engaging branded social content
  • One-step-ahead mentality on what differentiates a brand on social media
  • Clear understanding and up-to-the-moment knowledge on viral trends and cultural moments
  • Exceptional creative storytelling abilities
  • Ability to analyze and articulate why content goes viral and drives results for a brand
  • Proven track record of creating engaging short-form content; you may have 10’s or 100’s of millions of views on your content in aggregate
  • Self-starter; ability to unblock yourself; growth mindset.
  • Proactive in nature; bias toward action over deliberation
  • Experience partnering with Press Relations or other cross-functional groups for earned media opportunities stemming from viral social content

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading socials for a top-tier, leading brand.
  • Experience handling and coordinating on-set film shoots including: filming on a campus and coordinating the movement of and logistics for physical items around locations
