The Director of Sales serves as the senior level representative for the business development team to promote efficient, effective, and comprehensive market coverage by leading and coordinating all sales activities, while also establishing positive internal and external working relationships. Principal responsibilities include: Manages and is responsible for Collaborate with the Business Development Officers to develop new client proposals that take into consideration MidFirst Business Credit risk tolerances and marketability of the terms. Speed and responsiveness are keys to success. Supervise Business Development Officers. Responsible to lead, train, and oversee the team to meet organizational goals and achieve desired business results. Manage all human resource related activities for direct reports and drive employee engagement. Prepare sales budgets and approve sales expenditures. Lead staff meetings, communicate strategy and translate into tactical operating plans. Track and analyze sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics. Approve and/or support transactions presented to the appropriate level credit authorities. Proficient knowledge of credit policies. Work with MidFirst credit functions and Management on the oversight and evolution of loan policy. Own third party marketing, centers of influence, and senior lead generating partner relationships. Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices. Perform other related work duties as assigned.
