As the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Marketing , you will report to the CEO, driving Hyperproof’s revenue, brand, and overall market presence. WHO YOU ARE You are a seasoned B2B SaaS marketing executive who is an operator at heart, extremely focused on the data and able to steer the organization from small course corrections to large strategy changes. You have scaled businesses focusing on the needs of mid-market and enterprise organizations. You have built businesses both through direct demand generation and partnerships. You excel in growth marketing, business development, and demand generation, leveraging inbound strategies and account-based marketing (ABM) to deliver strong results across customers in all industries. You measure Marketing success in terms of pipeline and revenue contribution and have a keen focus on quality metrics like MQL to SQL conversion, SQL to Closed Won, and % of ICP leads generated. Your deep knowledge of SaaS metrics such as CAC Recovery, NRR and Burn Ratio enables you to craft and execute efficient strategies. Requirements

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of marketing experience with proven leadership in SaaS environments.
  • Extensive experience leading brand, demand generation, and product marketing functions.
  • Track record of success in scaling marketing organizations at Series B or growth-stage companies.
  • Skills and Attributes: Mastery of marketing tools and platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, and Google Analytics.
  • Strong financial acumen for managing budgets and measuring ROI.
  • Ability to inspire teams and build a collaborative culture.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Marketing Leadership Develop and execute a comprehensive, data-driven marketing strategy that aligns with organizational goals and drives growth across brand awareness, demand generation, and customer engagement. Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate marketing performance and ROI, continuously refining strategies based on insights and analytics. Take ownership of marketing operations including systems, processes, and workflows to ensure operational excellence within the marketing function. This role will be hands-on in managing lead flow, routing, and workflows to ensure seamless execution and alignment with business goals. Partner closely with the RevOps team to address bottlenecks, support the clean-up of the partner lead handoff process, and streamline operations to enable efficient collaboration across teams.
  • Branding, Messaging, and Positioning Serve as the steward of the company’s brand, ensuring consistency, authenticity, and alignment with the company’s mission and values in every customer interaction. Define and refine messaging and positioning that resonates with target audiences, differentiates the brand, and reinforces our competitive edge. Lead the charge in increasing brand equity and awareness, creating a strong emotional connection with customers and partners.
  • Demand Generation & Customer Engagement Drive end-to-end demand generation strategies that effectively convert prospects into loyal customers. Oversee integrated campaigns across multiple channels, including digital advertising, social media, email, and events, to build a high-performing marketing funnel. Partner with the sales team to ensure alignment on pipeline goals and support revenue attainment. Outbound BDR Motion Alignment: Partner with sales and business development representatives (BDRs) to create targeted outbound campaigns that engage existing customers for upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities. Ensure alignment of messaging and offers to address customer needs and drive pipeline growth. Develop and execute a customer advocacy program to showcase success stories through testimonials, case studies, and joint marketing campaigns. Leverage advocates to amplify brand messaging and drive referrals. Build and nurture a vibrant customer community that fosters collaboration, knowledge sharing, and brand advocacy. Develop programs such as forums, events, and user groups to deepen customer connections and loyalty.
  • Partner and Channel Marketing Develop and implement strategic partner and channel marketing programs to enable partner success and expand market demand. Collaborate with the partnerships team to create co-marketing opportunities that amplify the impact of key alliances.
  • Product Marketing and New Market Launches Lead the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for product launches, ensuring effective positioning, messaging, and cross-functional alignment. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and ensure successful expansion into emerging markets. Spearhead international marketing efforts to drive brand presence and adoption in global markets.
  • Content Strategy & Creation Define key themes and direction for the development of a comprehensive content calendar to position Hyperproof as thought leader in the industry across blogs, webinars, videos, podcast topics, social, and more Align content strategies with business priorities to consistently deliver valuable insights to prospects, customers, and partners. Drive greater efficiency in our marketing efforts through organic by focusing on high-impact keywords and maximizing brand awareness through both traditional searches but also YouTube, and AI recommendations.
  • Annual Customer Events and Conference Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of the annual customer conference and other marquee customer events. Develop engaging agendas, secure compelling speakers, and create impactful experiences that foster community, showcase product innovation, and reinforce customer loyalty. Collaborate across teams to ensure events align with broader marketing and business objectives.
  • Analyst Relations & Competitive Research Cultivate strong relationships with industry analysts to secure recognition and enhance credibility within the market. Drive competitive intelligence efforts to inform positioning, product development, and sales enablement strategies.
  • Team Leadership & Development Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Support team members’ professional growth by providing mentorship, resources, and opportunities for advancement.
