About The Position

As a key member of the Home Services executive leadership team, the SVP of Client Strategy & Transformation will be responsible for shaping and driving the strategic vision for client success, revenue growth, and business transformation across our portfolio. This role is charged with deepening strategic partnerships, leading transformative initiatives for our clients, and scaling solutions that enhance customer acquisition, retention, and long-term value creation. This executive will serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders and internal cross-functional leaders, ensuring alignment between business outcomes, innovation priorities, and operational execution. This individual will lead a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team across strategy, consulting, and delivery—setting the tone for excellence, accountability, and client impact at scale. This role is hybrid and based in our South Charlotte headquarters four days per week, with remote flexibility on Fridays. There is some level of client travel required.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of leadership experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or digital transformation—ideally with a focus on customer acquisition and performance marketing, lifecycle management, or operational scaling.
  • Proven ability to lead C-level client engagements and deliver enterprise transformation with measurable impact.
  • Deep understanding of customer strategy, digital ecosystems, and business model innovation, particularly in complex or regulated industries such as energy.
  • Strong business acumen with experience building and owning P&Ls, delivering growth targets, and navigating complex client or partner ecosystems.
  • Exceptional executive communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Track record of building, scaling, and leading cross-functional teams across strategy, product, analytics, and engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the executive sponsor and strategic thought partner for key client relationships, cultivating long-term, collaborative partnerships at the C-suite and senior leadership levels.
  • Champion client success through proactive engagement, understanding evolving business needs, and shaping strategies that unlock measurable business growth.
  • Guide the development and execution of high-impact transformation roadmaps that directly drive customer acquisition, retention, and expansion.
  • Architect and oversee the end-to-end delivery of client transformation initiatives, ensuring excellence across insight development, strategic planning, and operational execution.
  • Translate complex business challenges into enterprise-level solutions, integrating customer data, digital tools, and market intelligence into actionable plans.
  • Drive alignment across business units and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful execution of strategy and measurable business outcomes.
  • Identify and drive opportunities for net new business growth, including new solution development, cross-sell strategies, and multi-year partnership planning.
  • Oversee development of economic models and value propositions that support business case development and strategic investment decisions.
  • Lead strategic sales and renewal conversations, ensuring the organization is positioned as a long-term growth partner.
  • Own and manage internal business unit P&Ls
  • Serve as a market expert and trusted advisor on customer acquisition, digital transformation, and home services industries —providing insight into emerging trends, disruptions, and competitive positioning.
  • Represent the organization in client boardrooms, industry events, and executive forums, reinforcing our position as an innovation and growth leader.
  • Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing team across client strategy, marketing, product, and delivery—driving a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation.
  • Mentor and grow future leaders, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration, strategic thinking, and client obsession.
  • Partner with fellow executives to shape enterprise strategy, operating models, and organizational priorities.
