About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Valet Attendant / Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing them with exceptional service from the moment they arrive. Your responsibilities will include safely handling vehicles, ensuring the parking facility is well-maintained, and assisting guests with any needs they may have.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed

  • Prior valet or parking experience
  • Knowledge of local attractions and restaurants
  • Experience handling cash and credit card transactions

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Answer questions and provide information about parking rates and facility locations.
  • Safely drive and park guests' vehicles in designated parking areas.
  • Retrieve vehicles quickly and efficiently for guests upon request.
  • Maintain an organized and secure system for managing vehicle keys.
  • Provide pick-up and drop-off services for guests' vehicles to and from nearby hotels.
  • Conduct brief inspections of vehicles for existing damages before parking to avoid disputes.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and vehicle damage.
  • Monitor the parking area to deter theft, vandalism, and ensure a safe environment.
  • Issue parking claim tickets to customers upon arrival.
  • Document any incidents, damages, or complaints and report them to management.
  • Keep track of available parking spaces to optimize utilization and ensure efficient service.
  • Keep the parking area and valet booth clean and presentable at all times.
  • Regularly collect and dispose of garbage from the parking area and surrounding perimeter.
  • Clean and restock restrooms, ensuring they are sanitary and well-maintained.
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs to management promptly.
  • Assist guests with disabilities or special needs, ensuring their vehicles are parked in designated areas.
  • Handle payments, including processing cash and credit card transactions, and issuing receipts as required.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor, including wearing a uniform, and providing exceptional customer service at all times.
