Acute Care and Monitoring (ACM) is a $2B global business focused on airway management and patient monitoring technologies, helping clinicians reduce serious respiratory and perioperative complications across the continuum of care. As a Medtronic Sustainability Specialist with the Acute Care and Monitoring business, you will enhance the customer experience in Nellcor Pulse Oximetry Sustainability Programs. This role involves aiding the sales force in sustainability optimization in Key Accounts and partnering with the used sensor collections technician to offer consistent service. The specialist will foster relationships with hospital and health system leaders to drive program implementation, adoption, and ongoing management to meet and exceed customer sustainability objectives. This is a field-based role centered in Denver, CO, covering a multistate territory, with substantial travel (approximately 75% of the time).

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Must reside within the region of coverage
  • Travel required in assigned geography 75%
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Ability to physically be in hospitals daily and stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift and manipulate collection containers and shipping boxes
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
  • Possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment (as this role is below Principal level).

Nice To Haves

  • 3 years of medical device experience
  • Pulse oximetry or patient monitoring experience

  • Strong ability to do in-depth analysis, draw conclusions and build a customer strategy from the data is important

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the Sustainability expert to support sales of sustainability solutions.
  • Builds strong relationships with health system leaders within key accounts; develops Sustainability champions at each facility and supports them in the development of institutional policies and processes related to sustainability.
  • Leads conversion execution – conducts hospital walk-throughs and implementation in all new accounts.
  • Conducts on-site education and on-going support for sustainability customers.
  • Supports field personnel in providing the best possible outcomes and service for Medtronic customers by coordinating between the bedside clinician, the service technician, and Medtronic sales partners.
  • Engages hospital staff in customer business reviews, leveraging sustainability reports, savings metrics, and tracking to goals defined by the account.
  • Drives program adoption through ongoing clinician education, optimizing workflow, and delivering tangible results.
  • Partners with sales colleagues to execute sustainability initiatives pre and post-sale (Sales Representative, Regional Manager, Sustainability Service Technician, and sustainability partners).
  • Participates in conventions, forums, and meetings to increase product awareness.
  • Communicates key market and competitive insights to inform Medtronic strategy.
  • Achieves KPIs for key accounts.
