This position will provide hands-on experience in the areas of food service, sustainability and wellness. The internship is tailored toward out-going, self-motivated students with a passion for environmental issues, healthy food, and wellness.

Requirements

  • Commitment to 8-10 hours per week during assigned hours
  • Environmental Studies or Science Major preferred
  • Demonstrated interest and commitment to wellness and sustainability
  • Experience with Microsoft Office/Excel/Canva
  • Comfortable with public speaking
  • Ability to work with people of all ages and backgrounds

  • Environmental Studies or Science Major preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support research: conduct audits, surveys and data collection to contribute to research projects, as assigned
  • Serve as Student Fellow with Menus of Change University Research Collaborative
  • Community engagement and outreach: helping plan and execute campus wide events that promote wellness and sustainability
  • Create educational materials/social media content: these materials will be used to communicate with the community and promote programming
  • Collaborate with dining team and community stakeholders to implement and drive wellness and sustainability initiatives
