About The Position

The Surveillance Officer protects assets and maintains the integrity of the company by utilizing CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) and conducting floor observations. The primary goal is to provide a safe environment for employees and guests. This role involves operating various surveillance equipment, including monitors, switchers, computers, controllers, and cameras. The officer is responsible for conducting CCTV and personal observations across all departments and applicable job functions to ensure compliance with established laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and internal controls. Additionally, the position requires performing other duties traditionally associated with a Surveillance Officer.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have basic computer operational skills
• Must possess a good math aptitude
• Must possess excellent customer service, communication, and organizational and writing skills
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Interested applicants cannot have any relatives working in any cash handling, casino, or guest-related position at Harrah’s Northern California

Nice To Haves

• Preferred previous surveillance experience
• Preferred thorough working knowledge of all casino games with an emphasis on payoffs, odds, procedures and game protection
• Preferred working knowledge of Gaming Control Board Regulations
