About The Position

Join a leading 585+ bed hospital and Level I Trauma Center as a Tier 2 Surgical Technologist. In this role, you will provide expert support during complex surgeries, working alongside a high-performing surgical team. Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 1+ year as an OR Tech.
• Tier 2 Proficiency: Competent to serve as first scrub in at least three of the following specialty areas: Robotic Surgery Total Joints Neuro/Spine Vascular Surgery
• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology.
• Certification: BLS (AHA or Red Cross) required; CST (NBSTSA) strongly preferred.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills and efficiency with wire techniques are highly valued.

Nice To Haves

• Certification: CST (NBSTSA) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Surgical Support: Scrub in and assist the surgical team by providing instruments, handling specimens, and anticipating the surgeon’s needs.
• Suite Preparation: Set up and maintain the surgical suite with advanced equipment, ensuring all instruments and supplies are ready for seamless, safe operations.
• Patient Care: Assist with patient transport, positioning, prepping, and draping, while prioritizing patient comfort, privacy, and safety.
• Technical Monitoring: Monitor patients and surgical equipment during procedures, responding promptly to any clinical or technical concerns.
• Sterile Integrity: Maintain rigorous sterile technique and support efficient room turnover in a high-volume, collaborative environment.
