About The Position

As a Surgery Scheduler at OPA you will greatly contribute to the team by ensuring patient surgical needs by working collaboratively to ensure patients are scheduled for surgical appointments. Requirements

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year of clinical experience
  • Ability to understand medical charts and diagnosis for billing purposes
  • Experience using an electronic health records (EHR) software

Responsibilities

  • Primarily works with surgeons, medical staff, and patients to obtain a surgery date and schedule all components of surgery
  • Answer patient calls and follow up with patients
  • Able to handle multiple interruptions during the day while maintaining a high volume of surgery orders
