Surgery Aide III - Endo IR Recovery
About The Position
At Franciscan Health, the Surgery Aide III assists and supports surgical teams in the preparation and breakdown of surgical suites, provides equipment, and maintains a sterile operating environment. This position participates in transportation of patients to and from various patient care areas and departments within the hospital to designated areas. Requirements
- 5 years surgery aide experience Required
- Required High School Diploma/ GED
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
Responsibilities
- Assist in transferring, lifting and positioning patients, utilizing proper body mechanics.
- Transport patients and specimens to and from the department.
- Assist with ancillary patient care duties, as directed by the Supervisor/RN.
- Assemble charts for newly admitted patients and maintain charts on a daily basis.
