Day Shift - 7.5 Hours (United States of America) The Endoscopy Tech performs various direct patient care activities in the endoscopy unit under the supervision of the Physician and Registered Nurse. He/she will prepare procedure room for endoscopy procedures. He/she will assist the Physician and RN with Pre, Intra and post endoscopic patient care to provide physical and environmental support. He/she will also be responsible for cleaning and disinfecting endoscopes/instruments and other equipment according to policy and procedures. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Endo certification or CRST certification required.
  • Endo Tech or central sterile tech experience required.
  • Healthcare experience required.
  • Ability to assists in transporting patient from the inpatient units and within the Endo unit.
  • Knowledge of state and JCAHO standards required.
  • 30 lb weight lift requirement.
  • Able to push and pull stretchers/ instrument carts.
