Requirements

  • HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US)
  • Must have a good attendance record
  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Must be able to work from heights – up to 60’
  • Must be able to wear a respirator
  • Must have strong mechanical aptitude
  • The position requires ascending, descending stairs, standing for extended periods, bending, squatting, twisting, overhead reach, and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Process super alloy powder within the confines of an environmentally controlled, isolated area.
  • Screen & blend powder metals
  • Ensure work is accurate and work instructions are followed
  • Adhere to quality procedures
  • May be required to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position in support of department objectives and to develop one’s skills
  • Adhere to CORE guidelines and perform CORE duties as required
  • Adhere to all EH & S guidelines, including wearing of required personal protective equipment
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Communicate with co-workers
  • Must follow directions precisely
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift within specified weight restrictions
  • Physically capable of wearing a tight fitting half mask respirator
  • Ability to operate basic hand tools
