The Surface Land Representative negotiates, drafts, executes, and manages new and existing surface land agreements. This role involves initiating and developing land strategies through portfolio analysis, competitive intelligence, and external relationships with landowners, industry counterparts, government agencies, and communities. The representative supports small, medium, and large-sized clients/customers and makes significant contributions to cross-functional projects under supervision. Key responsibilities also include managing land brokers, title attorneys, and land support personnel, requiring a general knowledge of the work function and Chevron’s practices.
