About The Position
Desert View Hospital is a 25-bed, acute care hospital set in a rural community. Desert View provides safe and competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. We provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times. Job Description: Responsible for directing and supervising the inpatient/outpatient registration and admitting functions of the hospital in conjunction with and in the absence of the Patient Access Manager.
Requirements
- High School or equivalent preferred.
- A minimum of three (3) years in a hospital admitting department or business office setting and (1) in healthcare management, or five (5) years in a hospital admitting department with progressive responsibilities required.
- Computer profficiency, including microsoft word and excel basic function.
- Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patient.
