Summary Manage a team within the Mortgage Processing Department to achieve SLAs, provide frontline and member support and achieve department goals. Develop the team to provide excellent service for members and employees by maintaining high quality standards.

Requirements

  • College degree a strong plus or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in mortgage operations.
  • Minimum of 2 years of leading teams or management responsibilities preferred.
  • Strong process management skills.
  • Ability to lead a team to reach departmental and individual goals.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, influencing and technical skills.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to prioritize work and perform well in a high-volume environment.
  • Ability to identify proactive solutions to complex situations.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite and specialized software specific to or impacting mortgage area.

Responsibilities

  • Lead mortgage processing staff to ensure all service level goals, production/performance expectations, and loan quality requirements are regularly being met.
  • Train, coach and develop Mortgage Processors.
  • Assist with escalated or complex calls and NPS surveys from members.
  • Answer questions regarding products, policies and procedures.
  • Review pipeline and monthly results report to manage department volumes, turn times, and quality SLA’s.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Assist with special projects as required.
  • Assist in performing system testing for platform updates as required.
  • Look for improvements in departmental processes and work with management and peers to implement solutions.
  • Execute performance reviews and development plan discussions with subordinate staff.
