About The Position
The Maintenance Supervisor posses the skill and knowledge to supervise, plan, direct, and administer maintenance operations to include; coordination of all activities for the electricians, maintenance mechanic, maintenance workers, and air conditioning mechanics of an operational unit within Facility Management Service. This HVAC & Electrical Section Supervisor position is organizationally located in the Maintenance and Operation Section within the Engineering Service, in which Engineering Service reports to the Associate Director of Operations.
Requirements
- Major function of the position includes A/C Equipment Mechanics and Industrial Equipment Mechanics who operate, maintain and repair the HVAC and electrical systems throughout the facility.
Responsibilities
- Plans and schedules the work of subordinate employees to operate and maintain the utility and structures on campus.
- Furnishes technical instructions on new or more difficult operational tasks.
- Assists on difficult tasks such as diagnosing trouble and deciding whether equipment can be used or should be repaired.
