About The Position

We are seeking 1 additional Support Worker for our Supported Living Service in Penketh, WA5. This post is for 24 hours per week, working between the hours of 8am and 11pm, and/or 11pm to 8am. We will provide you with all the training, support and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop, should you decide you want to develop your career with us. Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role: Who will you be supporting? You will be supporting 2 ladies our aged from 25-40. The individuals that live here have learning Disabilities, autism, asperges syndrome and mental health. Staff are trained in Administration of medication and Positive Behavioural Support What is important to the people that we support? We like to keep a clean and tidy home. We enjoy all kinds of activities and will try anything once. We will access the community via bus or taxi. We are very different ladies, but are compatible to live together. They like to be out and about in the community, going to the cinema, shopping, bars and restaurants. I like my own independence but may also need some support from my staff team. I am gentle and shy person who enjoys my own company. It is important for me to spend time with my family, We are a female only service and we get along with people who have a good sense of humour and someone who calm and understanding of our emotions and can match our energy. Other important information? We have 2 staff on at a time, this allows us to have 1:1 time with them to do our chosen activities. Shift pattern is anything from 8am until 11pm then a sleep shift starting at 11pm until 7am
