Responsibilities may include collecting, disposing, and maintaining records of urine specimens; conducting drug screenings; maintaining the inventory of testing supplies and equipment testifying in court; reporting and documenting testing results; ensuring documentation procedures are done in accordance with policies and procedures; and providing training on testing result documentation. Location: 2022 Avenue A, Kearney, NE 68847 Salary: A Drug Technician's salary range is $31,474.16 to $38,348.14 annually. After probation period is completed, the Permanent wage will increase at least 2.5%. Pay rate may be commensurate with education and/or experience within fiscal constraints, if approved. Job Duties 1. Greets clients, collects testing forms and accompanies to drug testing area. 2. Conduct drug screening in accordance with established systems and procedures using approved testing methodologies. This includes obtaining urine specimen from Probationers, recording, and reporting results. 3. Stores testing samples in secure location and ensures chain of custody procedures are observed at all times. 4. Maintains drug testing supplies and equipment inventory. 5. Performs other duties of a similar nature or level. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • All educational credits must be granted from an accredited institution approved by the U.S. Dept. of Education.
