About The Position

Non-Teaching Support Staff Substitute Accepting or declining assignments is at your discretion without prejudice Classified substitutes are enrolled in the State Employee Retirement System (SERS) Hourly sub rate of $11.70 per hour Assignment Areas Classroom Teacher Assistant Child Specific (work one-on-one with a student with disabilities) Library Aide Lunch/Recess Monitor Office Assistant School Bus Aide (requires additional training before accepting the assignment)

Requirements

Prior experience in educational support preferred
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
Computer knowledge and possess basic academic skills
Maintain confidentiality
Physically capable of performing all job duties that may include, but are not limited to: standing, stooping, and stretching
Good character, courtesy, efficiency, cleanliness, and commitment to the welfare of the students
Current favorable BCII (State) and FBI (Federal) background checks
Ohio Educational Aide Permit (required to work with students)
Negative drug screen
