Position Summary: The Office Support Substitute provides temporary clerical and administrative assistance in school offices across the district. This position supports day-to-day operations by performing general office tasks such as answering phones, greeting visitors, data entry, and filing. The ideal candidate is flexible, dependable, and able to adapt to various school environments while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Perform clerical duties including filing, copying, faxing, and data entry Answer and route phone calls; take and deliver messages accurately Greet and assist students, parents, staff, and visitors in a courteous manner Maintain accurate records and update student/staff information as needed Assist with attendance tracking and reporting Support the preparation and distribution of school communications Operate standard office equipment and software (e.g., Google Workspace, Infinite Campus, Raptor, etc) Follow district policies, procedures, and confidentiality guidelines Perform other duties as assigned by the school office manager or administrator The intent of this job description is to provide a representation description of the types of duties and responsibilities required for this position.
