About The Position

Support Coordinator Supervisor Primary Responsibilities: • Always be compliant with all company and regulatory policies and procedures. • Provide day-to-day operational oversight of the DDD Support Coordination Unit, maintaining regular communication with the Director. • Lead, supervise, mentor, and evaluate Support Coordinators and Supervisors through coaching, training, performance management, and corrective action as needed. • Ensure compliance with all DDD, Medicaid, regulatory, and internal policies, including zero-reject/zero-discharge, confidentiality, Provider Agreement requirements, and employee standards of conduct. • Review, approve, and oversee Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and Service Plan modifications in accordance with NJCAT, PCPT, ISP Guidelines, and required timelines. • Guide staff on complex cases, health and safety concerns, service navigation, and provider coordination to ensure person-centered, safe, and effective service delivery. • Monitor service delivery quality, identify gaps, evaluate program resources, and implement improvements to enhance outcomes. • Review and audit case records and documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance. • Review, allocate, and adjust caseloads as needed; provide caseload coverage as needed • On-call coverage is required. • Facilitate team communication through regular meetings, preparation of monthly agendas, and delivery of training to Support Coordinators and Supervisors. • Support fiscal integrity through staffing oversight and assisting with verification of monthly billing activity. • Routinely provide leadership with data on program performance and improvement opportunities. • Onboard and train new staff; provide ongoing education on documentation standards, person-centered planning, best practices, and regulatory updates. • Maintain ongoing communication with individuals, families, guardians, and providers; address concerns and promote satisfaction and community awareness. • Remain current on DDD policies, Medicaid updates, services, provider resources, and best practices; complete all required trainings and webinars. • Assist with development of internal policies and procedures and support program growth, including marketing and outreach initiatives. Education and Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred. • Two (2) years of experience in developmental disabilities or care management. • Two (2) year supervisory experience preferred. • Must pass criminal background checks, central registry check (in applicable states) and child abuse registry (in applicable states). • Must complete and pass a drug test, in applicable states. • Must possess a valid Driver’s License and have reliable transportation. • Proficient in speaking, reading and writing the English language. • Approved by state, federal and government entities to work within BSLS programs. • Ability to use office equipment, including BSLS information technology systems. Skills and Abilities: • Must be able to communicate and function in an interdisciplinary team. • Strong computer skills utilizing various software programs and applications. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Ability to create professional employee communication materials. • Capable of working well with all levels of the organization. • A professional demeanor. • Demonstrated ability to multi-task. • Ability to work with little daily supervision. Travel is required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
