About The Position

If you are a technical professional with experience in building automation, controls, or refrigeration systems looking for an opportunity to grow, Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you! You will play a critical role in supporting refrigeration and controls systems that power food retail and commercial environments. In this role, you will provide technical assistance, troubleshooting, and support for customers and internal teams to ensure the smooth operation and optimization of refrigeration and control systems. You’ll collaborate closely with field technicians, engineers, and customers—helping diagnose issues, develop solutions, and improve system performance. Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in BAS, BMS, or facility controls systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in electrical or controls systems.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with customers, technicians, and engineers.
  • Availability to participate in a weekly on-call rotation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with food retail case controllers.
  • Previous field or contractor installation experience.
  • Proficiency in reading and troubleshooting electrical prints and communications systems.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams seeking technical assistance related to refrigeration and control systems.
  • Provide remote and on-site support to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues involving compressors, valves, controls, and refrigerant circuits.
  • Collaborate with field technicians and engineers to resolve complex technical challenges efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of support requests, troubleshooting steps, and solutions provided.
  • Generate reports on system performance and recommend improvements.
  • Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and knowledge base materials.
  • Conduct training sessions and develop instructional resources to enhance the skills of technicians and clients.
