Technica seeks to fill the position of Supply Technician (PMO) on a Government contract with a place of performance at Ft. Bliss, TX. Position Description: This work may require consideration of program requirements, together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines. The Government Furnished Property (GFP) module of the cloud-based platform Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) may be used to fulfill some requirements. Performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, property utilization) related to depot, local or other supply activities. Receives, stores and issues equipment, materials, and tools for the appropriate section. Inventories incoming Government Furnished Property/Equipment (GFP/GFE) to verify quantities received against Property Transfer receipts, Specialty Tool & Material request, or shipping document. Prepares Inventory Disposal Schedule for GFP using Plant Clearance in the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) system. A good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines. Prepares, maintain, and adjusts Government Furnished Property (GFP) records. Schedule appointments with Shop Supervisors to update the GFP records and assist with resolving discrepancies. Assists in collecting all required supporting documentation to submit loss, damage, destroyed, or theft (LDDT) reports to the Government Property Administrator. Deals with a variety of operating officials regarding limited aspects of program needs of the organization serviced. May contact representatives of commercial firms to obtain information regarding new items of supply, item characteristics, or procurement lead time; or representatives of government agencies (Federal, State, or local) regarding the utilization of property. Monitors and updates report for the utilization, maintenance, and warranty of all assigned Government Furnished Property. Responsible for keeping track of all assigned GSA fleet vehicles to ensure mandatory maintenance and mileage is being performed, report any vehicle accidents to the GSA Fleet Manager, will serve as the point of contact when vehicles are replaced. Assists in conducting internal audits to verify that property and records are kept up to date. Ensures all property management procedures and associated official records are maintained under the terms of the contract. Works within a framework of established supply regulations, policies, and procedures, or other governing supply management guidelines. Familiar with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.245-1 Government Property and FAR PART 45- Government Property.
