Job Summary: Responsible for supporting MVP operations by ensuring the timely flow and availability of materials. Own daily communications with supply partners to help ensure on-time delivery execution. Proactively communicate supply problems or exceptions to operations and master production scheduler. Maintain oversight of supplier inventory levels and capacity considerations. This role will require an energetic, adaptable, proactive thinker who can drive excellence in execution and live out our culture and core values of Family, Friendly, Forward.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field OR 3-5 years of industrial supply chain management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical skillset including research, data manipulation, and effective communication of insights
  • Highly effective interpersonal communication skills including oral and written platforms
  • Sit up to 2/3 of workday
  • Stand and/or walk up to 2/3 of workday
  • Close, distance, and peripheral vision
  • Ability to communicate orally (requires ability to hear and speak aloud)
  • Repetitive motion using hands and wrists and manual dexterity required up to 2/3 of workday (typing, writing, etc.)
  • Travel – 25-50%

Responsibilities

  • Communicate and build relationships with existing and new suppliers
  • Track supplier deliveries and expedite purchase orders and internal transfers
  • Coordinate updates with master scheduling and operations team
  • Identify and escalate potential supply chain risks or delays
  • Track key supplier metrics to support supplier score carding
  • Monitor MRP anomalies
  • Analyze part velocities to recommend adjustments to stocking levels
  • Work closely with receiving, warehousing, and quality departments to address supplier errors or discrepancies
  • Support cycle count and physical inventory processes
  • Assist with receiving, staging, and distribution of materials as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
