By providing patients and internal and external stakeholders with a consistent, efficient, and easy experience, you’ll help ensure that patients at The Oregon Clinic Gastroenterology East at Gateway Clinic receive the highest value care tailored to their needs. Using excellent customer service and communications skills, your primary duties in this role include: Responsible for assisting in and ensuring quality, cost containment, safety, and excellent customer satisfaction (physician, patient, and staff) in procurement and distribution for The Oregon Clinic. Acts as liaison between clinics and Central Supply Chain. Makes recommendations for process improvements. Attends Supply Chain department meetings. Assists in the development and maintenance of best practices, quality improvements, and process changes. Maintains the operations and productivity of the department, including supply replenishment, shipping and receiving, and supplies procurement for their assigned office. Coordinates repairs for equipment and instruments and PAR maintenance. Assuring that the right products, services, and equipment are delivered to the right person at the appropriate time. Supports the practice in mailing items and completes ad hoc reports. Other duties as assigned. This role is based at the Gateway Medical Office Building. Typical hours are Monday-Friday, (7:00 am-3:30 pm). This description is intended to provide only basic guidelines for meeting job requirements. Requirements

  • Minimum of (2) two years of inventory control experience is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of (1) one year of materials management experience is preferred
  • Minimum of (1) one year of customer service experience is required.
  • Must be familiar with the technical aspects and general functions of an Inventory and Material Management Information System.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask.
  • Excellent attendance, communication, time-management, and work ethic.
  • Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and other team members.
  • A commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in purchasing and supply chain management within a healthcare setting is a strong plus!
