By providing patients and internal and external stakeholders with a consistent, efficient, and easy experience, you’ll help ensure that patients at The Oregon Clinic Gastroenterology West Clinic receive the highest value care tailored to their needs. Using excellent customer service and communications skills, your primary duties in this role include: Directly assists the Clinic Manager in providing superior leadership and excellent communication skills while demonstrating professional patient care examples for staff to exemplify. Adheres to established care standards and clinic policies while supporting the Clinic Manager, and is responsible for assisting with scheduling, staff development, problem resolution, and procedures. Assists with hiring, orientation, training, and mentoring of clinic staff supervised by the Clinic Manager. Communicates regularly with the Clinic Manager on departmental issues. Strong process improvement skills, as well as the ability to review and develop workflows, will be required. Helps to ensure all areas of the department are in compliance with TOC policies, as well as all regulatory standards dictated by local, state, and federal regulations. Functions as the primary liaison between patients, clinic staff, physicians, and non-physicians' providers to provide excellent patient care. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related field is strongly preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
• Minimum of three (3) years of medical office experience is required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
• Excellent attendance and work ethic.
• Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians and other team members.
• A commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety.

Nice To Haves

• Specialty care Gastroenterology experience is a plus!
• Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is preferred.
• Epic experience is a plus!
