About The Position

This position uses specialized knowledge to support key areas of the organization related to an area of expertise. It involves using data, research analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to support colleagues and leadership in achieving the organization’s strategic objectives. The technician serves as a peer influencer and may direct a project or project team by applying industry experience and specialized knowledge. Daily duties include the acquisition and distribution of goods to support acute and/or ambulatory care departments, or proactively supporting/maintaining computer-based support systems to ensure continuous operational availability. The role supports various operations, projects, program management, and service delivery initiatives, interacting with various levels of management, professionals, colleagues, and vendors to provide and disseminate information. The technician independently completes multiple activities related to the planning, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of various Supply Chain operations, projects, program management, and service delivery.

Requirements

  • Have received a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2) to Three (3) years Supply Chain experience
  • Valid driver’s license where required by assignment

Responsibilities

  • Performs daily duties related to the acquisition and distribution of goods to support acute and/or ambulatory care departments
  • Proactively supports/maintains one or more computer-based support systems to ensure continuous operational availability to end users
  • Supports various operations, projects, program management, & service delivery initiatives
  • Interacts with various levels of management and professionals, colleagues & vendors providing & disseminating information
  • Independently completes multiple activities pertaining to the planning, implementation, coordination & evaluation of various Supply Chain operations, projects, program management, & service delivery
