Supply Chain Surgical & Procedural Services Clerk Full Time Days
About The Position
The Supply Chain Surgical & Procedural Services clerk is responsible for accurate keying, storage, delivery, and promptly putting away medical supplies and equipment throughout the operating room, catheter lab, GI suites, Anesthesia and Interventional Radiology. This role ensures timely replenishment and availability of supplies in all stocking locations, including storerooms and procedural suites. The technician also reviews and maintains Min/Max inventory levels, conducts scheduled physical inventories, and supports shipping activities for outgoing deliveries. This position is also responsible for picking of surgical cases, as well as emergency supply requests. This position may be cross-trained and required to float to other supply chain or support areas as needed.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (e.g. GED) required.
- Communication- communicates clearly and concisely
- Customer orientation – establishes and maintains long-term customer relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations.
- Interpersonal Skills – able to work effectively with other employees, supervisors and external parties
- Policies and Procedures – demonstrates knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures and systems
- Basic Skills- demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, able to perform basic mathematical calculations, balance and reconcile figures, punctuate properly, spell correctly and transcribe accurately.
