About The Position

Develop and manage supply chain projects supporting the organization to ensure successful completion of projects with identified goals and objectives, on schedule and with the expected results by using company tools and best practices. Requirements

  • AAS or BS/BA in Business Administration, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum five years of experience leading cross-functional teams, projects and developing processes, preferably in high-tech or manufacturing environments
  • Excellent organizational, problem solving and time management skills
  • Experience with ERP systems and supply chain operations
  • Must be a self-starter and take initiative with little supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with TL 9000 or similar standards and associated processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent cross-functional team leadership skills.
  • Proficient in the use of flowchart tools, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation tools, databases, and E-mail software (Microsoft Office products).
  • Experience with software-based project management tools
  • Experience with CRM, MRP or ERP systems
  • Ability to multi-task and keep track of several projects in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Ability to focus on detailed information for long periods of time. Develop and maintain positive interpersonal relationships with co-workers. Requires repetitive review of information and nearly mistake free work performance.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Must be able to type for extended periods of time.
  • This position works in an office environment interfacing through multiple mediums servicing internal customers. Regular and predictable attendance is required.

  • Professional certifications in PMP, CSCP, or Lean Six Sigma are considered strong assets

Responsibilities

  • Initiate, plan, schedule, execute and track project timelines, risks, and milestones
  • Coordinate team participants to ensure project tasks and deliverables are completed on time and with the expected results
  • Create and maintain project systems and documentation including project notes and action items
  • Develop dashboards and present clear key metrics for project status
  • Track and report on objectives and key results
  • Effectively communicate project status to all team members and project stakeholders
  • Ability to work with internal and external participants and stakeholders
  • Identify and manage project risks, contingencies, and mitigation strategies
  • Facilitate continuous improvement through the completion of projects having a direct impact on the success of the supply chain organization and their contribution to the organization
  • Create and maintain supply chain maps improving end-to-end visibility and risk identification
  • Maintain Company standards and methodologies on all projects
