Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or a related field required.
  • 5–7 years of progressive finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing, supply chain, or operations environment.
  • Strong business acumen with demonstrated ability to interpret financial results, communicate insights effectively, and influence business decisions.
  • Proven ability to partner cross-functionally and support complex problem-solving initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively across teams.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • SAP experience required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.

  • Experience with data analytics tools and reporting solutions preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial models to track and explain margin changes resulting from raw material cost fluctuations, including impacts to P&L projections and inventory valuation.
  • Lead Purchase Price Variance (PPV) reporting and analysis, providing clear explanations of actual versus standard cost variances and underlying drivers.
  • Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process by incorporating projected raw material volumes and pricing assumptions.
  • Analyze freight, duties, tariffs, and other landed cost components, and provide recommendations to optimize cost efficiency.
  • Partner with Operations and Procurement to support make-versus-buy analyses and sourcing decisions.
  • Lead and participate in monthly cross-functional meetings with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to review key financial metrics, evaluate cost drivers, monitor savings initiatives, and ensure alignment to budget and forecast assumptions.
  • Monitor logistics costs across manufacturing sites, carriers, and customer shipping locations.
  • Conduct monthly logistics spend reviews and assess cost-to-serve by customer.
  • Perform financial due diligence on key suppliers, including new, strategic, and single-source vendors.
  • Analyze vendor rebate agreements and project rebate income based on contractual terms and forecasted volumes.
  • Evaluate key external cost drivers, including fuel price volatility, insurance increases, rerouting costs, and global economic factors, to provide insights on freight costs, carrier selection, and delivery performance.
  • Support broader spending and operational efficiency initiatives by providing financial analysis and recommendations to optimize purchasing strategies.
