About The Position

A Supply Chain Manager oversees and manages the entire supply chain process, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods and services. Key Responsibilities: Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance performance throughout the supply chain network. Procurement and Inventory Management: Manage procurement processes, including sourcing and selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring quality materials are available. Control inventory levels and monitor stock to prevent shortages or excess. Logistics Coordination: Oversee logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure timely delivery of products to customers. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., operations, finance, production) to align supply chain activities with business objectives and demand forecasts. Performance Monitoring: Analyze supply chain performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to enhance operational efficiency. Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential disruptions in the supply chain.

  • High volume skus & working with multiple product lines - they have 10,000 SKU +
  • 8+ years of experience in supply chain
  • 3 + years in management
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of sourcing and vendor management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines - fast paced work environment
  • Experience in global sourcing / logistics - tariff cost savings a big plus
  • ITAR compliant

Nice To Haves

  • Epicor knowledge is ideal but ok seeing people with other ERP systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field is highly preferred but experience will trump this
  • Any certs a plus (CPM, CPSM or CIPS)
