About The Position

A Supply Chain Intern supports day-to-day operations across procurement, logistics, inventory, and planning. This role provides hands-on experience analyzing data, improving processes, and supporting supply chain teams in delivering products efficiently.

Requirements

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) or related software.
  • Process improvement mindset
  • Familiarity with Epicor or Dynamics
  • Currently pursuing a degree in: Supply Chain Management Business, Logistics, or Operations Management with Dynamics experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with procurement team with purchase orders by monitoring deliveries and maintaining purchase records in Epicor and other related purchasing activities
  • Organize and distribute the shortage report for refrigeration
  • Expedite orders to align with the production schedule
  • Interacts with suppliers to obtain pricing and estimated shipment dates
  • Verifies order acknowledgements and pricing.
  • Analyze supply chain data using tools like Excel or ERP systems
  • Supports a variety of logistical functions, including tracking costs, receiving, purchasing, and dispatching when applicable.
  • Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders.
  • Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition when applicable
  • Participate in meetings to discuss process improvement projects
  • Assist with invoice discrepancies from AP to resolve issues
  • Assist with purchase reports as required
  • Performs other duties as assigned
