About The Position

The internship will begin on either June 8, or June 15, 2025, and will run for a total of 10 weeks. Eligible for a hybrid work schedule split between home & office, with a minimum of 3 days in the office each week. As a Cheesecake Supply Chain Intern, you’ll play an important role in supporting our Supply Chain team by contributing to meaningful projects and hands-on responsibilities that align with your future career goals. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to how a Supply Chain department operates within a dynamic and collaborative business environment. Reporting to the SVP of Supply Chain you’ll join a Supply Chain team of 20 based in Calabasas Hills, CA. Together, you’ll support the Supply Chain function for The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated, a $3.7 billion public company with over 350 restaurants and more than 48,000 staff members nationwide. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary educational institution.
  • Completed a minimum 2 years in post-secondary education.
  • Majoring in Mathematics, Statistics, Information Tech, Economics or related field.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Available to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Available to work from the Support Center at least 3 days per week (Tues, Wed, Thurs)
  • Proficient in analytical tools like Excel, Tableau, Power BI etc.
  • Proficient in building workflows and presentation tools

Responsibilities

  • Become familiar with restaurant industry, Supply chain data. And how to translate data insights into actionable items.
  • Analyze supplier & product performance and correlate to sales & demand dynamics on a weekly basis
  • Participate in our Digital automation of various processes enabling low touch workflow
  • Get an early peek on our Agentic AI development to support supply chain business queries
  • Help develop and deliver statistical and mathematical analyses to support business decisions on forecasting.
  • Interpret disparate data to optimize performance benchmarks of our service partners and support our framework on (Markov’s Chain) prediction analysis
