Supply Chain Intern, PATTERN
About The Position
PATTERN is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Intern to join the Pattern Beauty team. This role will primarily support supply planning, inventory management, and forecasting activities, providing hands-on experience across end-to-end supply chain operations. The intern will work closely with cross-functional teams and gain exposure to planning processes, systems, and performance analytics in a fast-paced consumer products environment. Hourly rate: $22/hour Candidates MUST be based in the Los Angeles area as this is a hybrid role with three days in-person at the West Hollywood office.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and Word
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Support inventory planning and production supply scheduling across raw materials, components, and finished goods
- Track and manage purchase orders, production timelines, and inbound shipments to support on-time delivery
- Maintain accurate data in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) including POs, delivery timelines, and item setup
- Support product status tracking and issue resolution with internal teams, vendors, and 3PL partners
- Assist with inventory reconciliation and data validation across internal systems and external partners
- Analyze data to identify stock risks, excess inventory, and forecast trends
- Contribute to reporting and analysis of key supply chain metrics (inventory turns, days on hand, service levels)
- Support demand forecasting and data updates for the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process
- Assist with new product launches (NPI) through materials tracking and timeline coordination
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align demand and supply priorities
- Assist with process improvements and ad hoc supply chain projects
