Supports day-to-day purchasing and sourcing activities by researching suppliers and products, collecting bids/quotes, comparing price, quality, reliability, and delivery timing, and assisting with purchase order creation and follow-up to help ensure required delivery dates are met. Assists with contract and bid administration by helping draft bid specifications, supporting the RFP/bid opening process, coordinating procurement documents, and maintaining clear, complete records to ensure audit-ready files and compliance with established policies and procedures. Validates and organizes pricing information (including contract/GPO pricing) and assists with loading and classifying contracts and quotations in the Information System to support reporting, cost-savings initiatives, and management decisions; participates in training/educational activities and performs other related duties as assigned.
