The Wood Products Supply Chain organization has an immediate opportunity available for a full-time Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. Weyerhaeuser’s 125-year history meets modern sustainability in its new LEED-certified and award-winning building located in the historic Pioneer Square district. The Customer Support Representative I will be supporting our Oriented Strand Board business. The role is designed to build foundational customer service and order management experience. This role serves as a primary point of contact for assigned customers and sales partners, enters and manages orders using our order entry tool and SAP, and develops working knowledge of products, systems, and customer needs. This position is expected to grow in skill, knowledge, and independence over time. The ideal candidate is a motivated, action-oriented person who is passionate about customer service. In this role, you are instrumental in developing and maintaining relationships by providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers. Requirements

  • GED or High School Diploma
  • 1-2 + years of customer service or office administration
  • Customer service focus, with the ability to act as a reliable point of contact and take ownership of routine customer interactions.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills to effectively support customers and collaborate with sales and internal partners via phone, email, and in person.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy when entering and managing orders to ensure correct pricing, shipping, and invoicing.
  • Basic problem‑solving skills with the ability to recognize issues, gather information, and escalate appropriately.
  • Time management and organizational skills to prioritize work and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
  • Collaboration and relationship‑building skills to work effectively within a team and build positive relationships with customers and internal partners.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability and willingness to learn enterprise systems, including SAP and selling tools, to support order entry and customer data processes.
  • Comfort using web‑based applications and customer service tools to support daily work activities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as neededs

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers and sellers, taking ownership of routine customer interactions and inquiries related to order status and product information.
  • Enter and manage customer orders or assist sellers with order file management using sales tools and SAP, ensuring orders are priced, shipped, and invoiced accurately and on time.
  • Troubleshoot basic customer and order issues, escalating more complex situations as needed, and learning from order errors or mistakes to improve accuracy and service quality.
  • Develop foundational knowledge of customers, products, pricing, company procedures, and services to effectively support a defined customer base.
  • Submit new customer requests accurately through SAP master data processes with guidance, building confidence and system proficiency over time.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, peers, and internal partners to support customer commitments and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and internal stakeholders through written and verbal channels, including phone and email.
  • Build time management and organizational skills to remain focused on priorities while maintaining attention to accuracy and detail.

  • This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $42,345-63,588 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.
