About The Position

The Supply Chain Coordinator will support the Mission Command Training Program, and you will belong to a collaborative team providing multi-disciplinary support to government and industry. The ideal applicant will support and assist activities within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process. Provide technical, tactical and execution support in various aspects of the industry standard supply chain business process areas primarily in Supply Chain Logistics, as well as Supply Chain Business Operations. The employee will be primarily responsible for the manual movement, shipping and receiving of materials. This position requires on-site performance of duties in a classified environment in the Fort Leavenworth, Kansas area. An active Secret Security Clearance is required You will be responsible for providing acquisition logistics management support expertise to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of services in support of the customer’s mission. In this role you will: Account for and maintain records of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) IUID markings and processes Storage, tracking, and issuing inventories. Coordinates with Property Management for shipping/receiving tooling and equipment. Monitoring receipt of item at receipt and maintains shipment/receiving records. Reports and schedule information for items dispositioned Ordering of needed shipping supplies Knowledge of Workbooks, procedures, and forms. Meet Your Recruiter! Requirements

  • High School Diploma and 5 years of relevant work experience in shipping/receiving, and/or inventory control and/or material transportation.
  • An active Secret Security Clearance is required
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Ability to obtain special program access.
  • Experience with using an MRP system for storing and issuing inventory.
  • Experience other types of freight moving equipment.
  • Previous experience with inventory with shelf life and/or out-time controls.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with safely loading and unloading trucks.
  • Experienced user of MS Office computer programs to accomplish reports, logs, and briefings.
  • Experience with Government Furnished Equipement and accountability.
