Job SummaryProvide administrative and clerical support specifically related to supply chain department activities, managers or staff. Maintain files, logs, records of invoices, purchase orders and other related documentation. Maintain information on computer systems. Assist in expediting orders. May assist buyers in contacting vendors to obtain prices and schedule delivery dates. May develop and maintain resources for assigned commodity items. Prepare standard requests for quotation.Job Responsibilities Perform a variety of routine activities in support of functional areas such as production operations, engineering, or human resources for a specific project, business or a technical unit Gather, collect, record, track and verify data and information from multiple sources Compile, review and analyze data Use software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations May design processes to enhance work flow Provide data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures
