Requirements

Must be able to measure using the metric system
Basic math skills are needed to include addition, subtraction, and fractions.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
The employee frequently is required to sit, stand and walk; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands or arms.
The duties of this position are carried out in a typical office environment, although exposure to manufacturing areas may frequently be required.
The noise level in the work environment is normally low.

Responsibilities

Follow all safety guidelines and participate as a fully-empowered team member to achieve organization-wide goal of zero incidents.
Responsible for entering purchase orders, faxing, coordinating delivery and follow-up such orders with appropriate vendors.
Minimal customer service duties-fulfills customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction.
Familiar with MRP, MPS, Supply chain, inventory management, JIT/KANBAN processes and procedures.
Responsible for parts inventory and min/max re-ordering levels.
