The Supply Chain Coordinator for the Operating Room is responsible for comprehensive coordination within the supply chain, including OR equipment, general supplies, vendor interactions, inventory management, Joint Commission compliance, and supply chain reporting. Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications
• Experience and knowledge of materials management/supply chain software systems
• Working knowledge of perpetual and PAR inventory processes
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing
• Annual Joint Commission mandatory education requirements, in-service and health requirements including attendance at new employee orientation.
• TB/PPD Surveillance Program
• Maintenance of required professional licensing and/or certification(s).

Nice To Haves

• Three (3) years of experience in a supply chain environment in the health care industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• OR equipment coordination: including equipment maintenance, logistics, inventory, repair, and removal of unnecessary equipment.
• Supply chain coordination: including coordinating all supply orders, monitoring par and Kanban levels, coordinating special, non-stock orders, and validation of deliveries.
• Vendor coordination: including vendor tray tracking software compliance (i.e.Casechek) , supply and implant tote compliance, and sales representative monitoring compliance with required certifications and physical health satisfaction ( i.e., Vendor Mate).
• Inventory coordination: coordinate inventory auditing activities and reporting.
• The Joint Commission compliance coordination: including hallway compliance, storage area compliance, and access area compliance.
• Supply chain reporting coordination: Assists in supply chain data collection, management, reporting, and analysis.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
