About The Position

Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC) is seeking a Supply Chain Compliance Analyst or Senior Compliance Analyst I or II (May be eligible for telework) to be based in our Aiken, SC location on the Savannah River Site (SRS). The Supply Chain Compliance Analyst or Senior Compliance Analyst I o II is responsible for ensuring compliance requirements are established, implemented and understood by appropriate audiences. Activities include, but are not limited to, self-audit, compliance issue solutions, policy and procedure compliance, education/training, and guidance on operational requirements.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED and relevant experience in audit, compliance or related experience as defined in the job description.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures procedures, guidance documents and forms are developed, reviewed, approved, and distributed to appropriate personnel in accordance with the approval process cycle.
  • Ensures that technical and engineering documents such as vendor manuals, diagrams, charts, blueprints and specifications are reviewed and accurately integrated into procedures
  • Develops basic to moderately complex solutions for compliance issues/problems
  • Able to review and determine price reasonableness based on policies, procedures, and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
  • Collaborates with managers and other resources in process, program and/or procedure development and revisions
  • Conducts regular and periodic reviews of existing procedures and other documents in response to organizational, technical or administrative changes; or at management direction.
  • Assists in the development of communication plans for implementing new or revised policies, procedures or practices in collaboration with policy owner
  • Collaborates with the training department and subject experts for the development and delivery of consistent training
  • Conducts and assists with compliance reviews/audits
  • Contributes to and participates in improvement initiatives to support department and company initiatives, mission, and goals
  • Assists in completion of assigned Corrective Action items
  • Assists with ensuring compliance to site Records Management requirements
  • Maintains website links and content
  • May assume lead role for special assignments or special projects of short to mid-range duration
  • May track and report status of issues, project completion etc.
  • May be subject matter expert in one or more area providing guidance and counsel to managers and employees
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Identifies and develops resolutions for complex compliance problems
  • Develops best practice processes in support of the compliance infrastructure, including enhancement of policies, operating procedures, practices and relevant forms and templates
  • Develops and implements training and/or training requirements
  • Maintains compliance requirements (DOE Orders, FAR, etc) and communicates to appropriate department to incorporate into company policies, programs and procedures
  • Develops schedules and performs department assessments and audits
  • Coordinates, tracks and develops responses to internal and external audits (DCAA, OIG)
  • Manages tracking system for compliance related issues and prepares reports from investigations, findings and audits including monitoring any action requiring response
  • Maintains confidentiality and proactively takes measures to protect sensitive data
  • Collaborates with the general counsel’s office and internal audit staff
  • Acts as subject matter expert pertaining to area(s) assigned providing guidance and counsel to managers and employees
  • Contributes to improvement initiatives to support department and company mission and goals
  • Performs other duties as assigned
