The Ring Supply Chain AI Strategist is responsible for the internal and external activities related to the expansion of our AI capabilities for all aspects of supply planning: from production forecasts to finished goods delivery. This role will be central to our digital transformation, focusing on building out AI capabilities that will improve and drive efficiencies within our supply planning operations through automation, predictive analytics, and intelligent decision-making systems. A day in the life The role focuses on AI development and enhancement to improve the supply planning operations of Ring devices and accessories. Key activities include: Design and develop new AI tools for supply chain optimization, focusing on areas like production forecasting and inventory management. Collaborate with IT and supply chain teams to integrate new AI tools into existing systems and workflows, ensuring seamless operation Debug and enhance existing AI applications based on user feedback and performance metrics, continuously improving accuracy and functionality Create and maintain AI-powered dashboards and reporting tools that provide real-time insights to leadership and operational teams

Requirements

5+ years of with Excel experience
Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of professional or military experience
Experience working with complex data sets
Experience communicating results to senior leadership
Experience leading process improvement, systems development, and project management
Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques
Experience with SQL

Responsibilities

Design and implement AI-powered production strategies that optimize new product introductions through end-of-life cycles
Leverage artificial intelligence to improve global supply allocation across sales channels
Build and maintain AI tools to automatically monitor and optimize KPIs including weeks of cover, stock availability, transportation mix, and inventory levels
Utilize natural language processing and automated reasoning systems to identify and resolve supply gaps
Develop automated reporting systems with AI-driven insights for leadership decision-making
Create AI tools to predict and prevent production issues across global partners
Implement machine learning systems for capacity utilization optimization and material liability management
Develop predictive analytics tools for manufacturing investment decisions
Architect next-generation AI solutions for planning operations
Design and implement automated workflows for routine planning tasks using AI/ML
Develop advanced analytics models for inventory optimization and production recommendations

Benefits

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $109,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market.
Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
