Scrunch AI , a venture-backed startup, is on a mission to bring brands to an AI-first future—where people increasingly rely on LLMs to discover, understand, and act on information that matters to them. As AI search and conversational agents replace traditional web search and browsing, Scrunch helps marketing teams rethink how their products and services are discovered and surfaced on AI platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and more—working with AI platforms, not against them. This shift represents the biggest change to marketing since the dawn of the internet. With $26M in backing from Mayfield Fund, Decibel, Homebrew, GTM Capital, and leading Silicon Valley founders and operators, Scrunch has scaled rapidly since commercial launch. Today, more than 500 paying brands—including Fortune 500 companies like Lenovo, category-defining brands like Skims, and breakout startups like Clerk—use the platform. We’re hiring an AI Strategist to support our enterprise clients by translating Scrunch intelligence into clear insights, recommendations, and actionable frameworks. This is an IC role focused on strategy, analysis, and cross-functional enablement.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years in consulting, strategy, digital marketing, SEO, or related analytical roles.
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into simple, actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication and structured thinking; comfort presenting to cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with structured content, schema.org , or SEO concepts (advisory-level).
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and a builder mindset suited for early-stage environments.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of each client’s AI Search strategy.
  • Help diagnose challenges, prioritize opportunities, and operationalize Scrunch platform insights.
  • Partner with Customer Success to run monthly/quarterly strategy reviews and cross-functional alignment sessions.
  • Build and maintain dashboards tracking AI Search KPIs, competitive movement, and structured-content maturity.
  • Deliver recurring insights on content performance, competitive trends, and LLM behavior shifts.
  • Translate Scrunch platform intelligence into clear recommendations tied to personas, prompt patterns, and customer journeys.
  • Conduct forward-looking research on AI discovery, structured content, and search-intent evolution
  • Lead client working sessions focused on improving visibility across AI-powered search experiences (ChatGPT, Google SGE, Perplexity, etc.).
  • Develop and refine AEO playbooks and frameworks based on real client outcomes and AI ecosystem changes.
  • Support content strategy, structured-data best practices, and technical/site-readiness assessments.
  • Advise on technical foundations (schema markup, structured data, content architecture) that influence AI visibility.
  • Provide the Scrunch product team with insight into real-world client needs, edge cases, and usability feedback.
  • Partner with product on feature validation and help test new intelligence models or dashboard enhancements.
