About The Position

The SC Administrative Assistant provides direct administrative support for the Plant Director, Department Managers and Supervisors. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for weekly payroll submissions as well as processing invoices for payment in APS/MyBuy.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Strong organizational skills and proven ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to function well in a team environment, display professional maturity and interact with all levels of management
  • 2 + years previous Finance experience (eg. invoices, recording everyday transactions, bookkeeping, accounts receivables and payable, etc)
  • Manufacturing or Warehouse experience (2 + years)
  • Microsoft Excel and Office proficiency
  • Show strong attention to detail and communicate effectively with employees and suppliers
  • Results-oriented with the ability to complete assignments in a timely manner with limited supervision

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with frontline and union work.
  • Payroll knowledge
  • Strong understanding of PBNA/PES systems (e.g. KRONOS, APS, ITL, CETS)
  • Prior Sales/or bottler operations experience.
  • Experience with SAP and MyBuy Ariba, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • General administrative support work such as running reports, copying, purchasing, filing, etc.
  • Serves as a primary Payroll administrator for 130+ frontline employees.
  • Administer Plant Kronos for compliance with HR and Control requirements. Responsible for reviewing, retaining payroll supporting documentation, and signing off on weekly payroll.
  • Research, analyze, and resolve payroll related problems or questions.
  • Accounts Subject Matter Expert – research and action on bill payments etc.
  • Purchasing and Vendor payments using MyBuy, Ariba, S4/Hana
  • Run reports and prepare cost tracker for P&L each week.
  • Reconcile PCard and T&E transactions.
  • Track attendance and vacations in accordance to local Collective Bargaining Unit
  • Ensure we are executing payroll practices in accordance to Control & Compliance
  • Purchases facility and office supplies.
  • Purchase uniforms
  • Post Union Job bids
  • Coordinates meetings and events.
  • Security Badge Administrator.

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $45,900 - $73,250.
