About the role The purpose of this role is to serve as the liaison between production and suppliers to ensure that raw materials and packaging components meet defined quality specifications. This is delivered by: Collecting, reviewing, and maintaining applicable compliance documentation or in scope suppliers. Generating relevant metrics, data analytics and trending for performance management.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3+ year of experience in a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of quality performance for raw materials suppliers, packaging components suppliers, contract laboratories and service providers.
  • Ensure monitoring and documentation of suppliers and 3rd parties/service providers approval process: issue and maintain up to date Quality Agreements and Quality Improvement Plans, material qualification approvals, ensure the supply of the current technical specification to the supplier or to the service providers, maintain/update service agreements as well as list of approved suppliers & 3rd parties/service providers, and participate to supplier monitoring process.
  • Collaborate with above site Supplier Quality associates to ensure quality records are updated.
  • Perform Quality risk assessments for suppliers and newly sourced materials, and ensure risks are properly mitigated.
  • Lead / escalate supplier related investigations; support global Supplier Audit team with investigations.
  • Manage the supplier auditing / certification program for suppliers and support the global Supplier Audit team.
  • Execute material and supplier approvals and associated change notifications through use of local change management.
  • Identify and track meaningful metrics to allow recognition of supplier issues and drive improvements from suppliers.
  • Collaborate effectively and establish processes to ensure smooth communication within the department and external suppliers.
  • Ensure two-way communication between Site and suppliers.
  • Approve/review/author GMP related documentation.
  • Approve changes associated with these documents
