About The Position

You will be the Supplier Quality Engineering Associate Manager for the Guidance and Control Section. Our team is responsible for delivering high‑quality components for the GMLRS program. What You Will Be Doing As the Supplier Quality Engineering Associate Manager you will be responsible for leading supplier quality initiatives across the GMLRS supply chain. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Manage quality for the Guidance and Control Section and associated minor suppliers. Review internal and external manufacturing documentation to ensure compliance. Support Integrated Product Teams with quality data analysis, risk mitigation, and corrective actions. Lead Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards, dispositioning non‑conforming hardware. Drive lean initiatives and oversee Earned Value Management System work packages. Requirements

  • STEM Degree at the Bachelors level or above or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • Engineering or Quality experience developing methods/ processes, work instructions, and procedures for the inspection of manufactured products.
  • Ability to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and apply quality test and inspection methods and translate into work instructions.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, contracts that will enable development and review of QE processes, and related performance metrics.
  • Demonstrated understanding of audit techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical/ process issues varying from basic to very complex.
  • Experience in disposition of non-conforming products and failure review boards.
  • Advanced experience in Geometric Dimension and Tolerance.
  • Knowledge of Configuration and Data Management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that promote teamwork and collaboration across multiple functions and motivate support personnel to achieve common goals.
  • Supplier Quality Experience
  • Ability to travel (typically around 25%)

  • SAP or Apriso Application Experience
  • Prior leadership or people management experience
  • Lean/ Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
  • Special Process Engineering Experience
  • Electrical Engineering or Manufacturing of Cables, Harnesses, EEE components Experience
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and/ or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)
  • Advanced AS9100 Interpretation and Application Experience
  • Experience Working with Government Customers
  • Experience with performing AS9102 First Article Inspections or AS9145 APQP & PPAP.
  • Experience with the DD250 process.
  • Experience working Quality support on a manufacturing floor.
  • Experience with process capability analysis and interpretation, gage R&R, or measurement system analysis.
  • Effective Communication Skills - written, oral, listening, and technical writing.
  • Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of industry recognized Quality systems such International (ISO), aerospace (AS), and FAA regulations.
  • Statistical Process Control (SPC)/ Key Characteristics (KC) Experience.
  • Test and Inspection Equipment Experience.
