About The Position
You will be the Supplier Quality Engineer Senior for the Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) team. Requirements
- STEM degree at the bachelor’s level or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance; candidate must be a U.S. citizen.
- Quality engineering experience developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured products.
- Able to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and apply quality test, inspection methods and work instructions.
- Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools
- Experience in disposition of non-conforming products.
- Knowledge of Configuration and Data Management.
- Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Effective strong communication skills, written, oral, listening, technical writing.
- Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration.
- Demonstrated presentation skills.
- Ability to travel 25% of the time.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (after hours or weekends when needed)
Nice To Haves
- STEM degree at the bachelor's level or above highly preferred.
- In depth knowledge and experience in Quality processes and procedures.
- Effectively interact with Suppliers, Quality Program Management, Technical Operations, Manufacturing, Government Representatives, and other stakeholders.
- Engineering drawing review experience.
- Experience with First Article Inspections to AS9102 requirements.
- AS9100 interpretation and application experience.
